Take a tour of one of South Asia's most advanced MDF plants and see how raw fibre becomes premium board.

From timber yard to finished panel

Every KTC panel begins life as responsibly-sourced softwood. Logs enter the yard, are debarked, chipped, refined into fibre, then dried and dosed with binders before being formed, pressed and cooled.

The line runs continuously, producing 350 cubic metres of board every 24 hours. Each batch is sampled and tested in our on-site lab for density, swelling and emissions.

Consistency is the hardest thing in manufacturing. We measure it every hour, on every shift.

The press is the heart

Our ContiRoll press applies 350 tonnes of force at 200°C to bond the fibre mat into a homogeneous panel. The resulting board is straighter, denser and more dimensionally stable than anything produced on legacy multi-daylight presses.
