Why Engineered Wood Outperforms Solid Wood

Stability, sustainability and strength — the case for MDF and particleboard in modern construction.

Stability first

Solid wood moves with humidity. Engineered panels don't — their cross-bonded structure cancels out the expansion that warps and splits real timber over time. For climate-controlled interiors, that stability is non-negotiable.

Sustainable by design

Engineered wood uses small, fast-growing trees and the offcuts of larger ones. Yield per hectare is several times higher than for solid timber, and the manufacturing process is fully closed-loop.

Solid wood is beautiful. Engineered wood is beautiful and predictable.
